I had planned for his birthday
cake for a long time. It was a safari jungle theme two tier cake and I was so
excited to make it till we got an unexpected trip to make down boise the day of
his birthday. I had no more time to make this elaborate cake for him.
Nonetheless, with little time I have I made him a simple gift box cake with an
elephant topper. The cake is red velvet layered with buttercream, covered in
fondant, decorated with gum paste. All the kids in his party just wanted the
elephant and gum paste decorations. They know where all the sugar is.
