My wife, Wendy, is the most wonderful wife and mother. From the moment that our daughter was born 7 weeks early, she has been taking care of our child through the two weeks in the NICU, through the 2 months of colic, through the 9 months of sleepless nights (because even without sleep aids, I can sleep through anything, including baby cries and fire alarms). She cares for the baby while I go to work, and to class, and to more work. She makes dinner day after day after day, and she keeps the apartment clean just as regularly. She does her own classes online while taking care of the baby. Wendy has recently gone back to work during my off-shifts to help pay the bills. She has supported me while I spent countless hours working on applications to grad school. Wendy deserves a treat as much as anyone deserves anything.
